Pam's Vine
A few years ago Pam planted a cross vine to decorate a bamboo pergola that I made. Although it's been getting overrun by wisteria, it still producing nice blooms.

Only one cat in the house now, but he's a great one
Lucy disappeared two years ago, and her sister Ginger died recently. That leaves us only Clarence. Although photos generally don't do justice to his beauty, Pam got a nice shot of him on our bed.
Fishing
Although I'm fishing very little these days, I still maintain an interest in the activity. I've been out on the pond a couple of times this month and both times caught a few bluegills. On an evening trip, I took a picture of the sun setting before walking home.
University of Maryland reflects Middle East conflict
The Jewish students at the University set up displays in the center of the mall a few weeks ago:
As I walked towards class I came across another group of students, apparently from Arab countries, who were demonstrating against Israel at the end of the mall in front of McKeldin Library. I don't believe it was coincidental that they picked this day. I also noticed that some campus policemen were keeping their eyes on both groups.
Some students wearing yamakas were engaging the Arab students in discussions, but everything appeared civil.

University of Maryland Garden
Throughout the campus, you can see some excent landscaping. It's been a few years since I visited this garden, so I took some pictures yesterday after class.
Backyard Buttercups
This part of our yard is more meadow than lawn. but it's nice in the spring when the wildflowers bloom.
