I never understood why people sometimes say, "What a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky." Ever since I was a kid, I liked looking at clouds, and when I started taking trips by airplanes I was able to see them from both sides, like the Joni Mitchell lyric.

I am a cloud lover too --there's some sort of society of "people who like to look at clouds" or some such (not the official name, obviously). It's one of my favorite things to try and capture with watercolor.
